ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a SAP S/4HANA Security Lead to join our IT Team on a full time basis. In this role, you’ll report to the IT Solutions Manager - ERP and play a key part in leading security optimization and compliance initiatives for our freshly upgraded S/4HANA on RISE landscape. This role requires deep expertise in post-upgrade security optimization, S/4HANA security features, cloud integration security, and the ability to coordinate security projects with outsourced vendor teams and offshore security specialists.
This position is based at our Downtown Calgary Head Office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead comprehensive post-upgrade security assessment and optimization for our freshly upgraded S/4HANA environment
- Coordinate complex security projects with outsourced development teams and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain enterprise security roadmap leveraging new S/4HANA security capabilities
Operational Excellence:
- Implement and maintain security roles and authorizations in SAP S/4HANA modules and closely integrated systems
- Manage SAP BTP security configurations and cloud integration protocols
- Oversee quarterly access reviews and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOX and industry-specific regulatory requirements
Technical Leadership:

- Manage integration security between S/4HANA and cloud applications (SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of GRC solutions and tools. Assist in implementing and manage SAP Identity Access Governance (CIAG)
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
- 8+ years total SAP security experience with minimum 3+ years S/4HANA security
- CRITICAL: Experience with post-upgrade security optimization and stabilization projects in newly upgraded S/4HANA environments
