ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an inspired and passionate Supervisor who is driven and hard-working to join our Shared Services team. As the Supervisor, Corporate Support, you will lead the Admin Connect team who provides administrative support to our corporate stakeholders.

 

Your primary responsibilities are to liaise with supervisors, managers, and VPs, and coach and mentor the Admin Connect team. You must be able to must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, and develop & maintain relationships with all stakeholders.

 

This a full-time salaried position that is based out of our Head Office in Downtown Calgary, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Role Specific Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for administrative support for all corporate stakeholders, following the Admin Connect intake strategy

  • Prepare and assist with assorted recurring and ad hoc information requests and reporting needs

  • Collaborate and exchange ideas and information effectively using tact and diplomacy when dealing with others

  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, increase standardization and cross-training, and overall stakeholder satisfaction between fuel groups

  • Support Business Services cost optimization and Admin Connect KPI targets

  • Analyze work-flow issues and implement workable solutions while ensuring adherence to quality standards

  • Responsible for managing Corporate Event planning

  • Responsible for managing the Corporate Support budget

 

Leadership & Cross-Functional Accountabilities 

 

  • Manage administration positions through mentoring, recruitment, promotion, transfer, performance management, training/development, and supervision/delegation of work

  • Improve and maintain a pleasant and psychologically safe working environment

  • Set priorities and enforce agreed deadlines to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time

  • Leads team in continuous development

  • Apply consistent performance management, coaching, feedback, and corrective action

  • Collaborate and engage with stakeholders; manage these relationships in a manner that facilitates a positive image, expediting where required

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

 

  • University Degree in Business and / or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading work and teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in core office programs (i.e.: MS office), and capable of learning key position specific applications (such as SAP)

 

Nice to Haves

 

  • Working experience in Accounts Payable area

  • Knowledge of SOX processes as it pertains to Accounts Payable

  • General Accounting knowledge
