ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Finance Accountant to join our Australia Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, this role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting, maintaining a strong control environment, and supporting the organization's month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements.
The primary focus of the role is on preparing month-end financial reporting, reconciliation, audit, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business and gain exposure to a broad range of accounting activities.

This position is based out of our Perth office with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Prepare month-end close requirements, including accruals, journals and reconciliations
- Prepare various monthly financial reports
- Manage corporate vendor accounts and Flexi-purchase credit card system
- Assist with preparation of the annual statutory accounts and quarterly reporting for the group
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and SOX controls.
- Assist with financial analysis, audit requests and regulatory reporting requirements.
ABOUT YOU

- CA/CPA qualified, or in the final stages of completing CA/CPA qualification
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and controls
- Experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Practical understanding of accounting standards and financial controls
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively work autonomously or collaboratively
